Our Story

My love for the American flag started early.

Growing up, my dad would strap me into a front carrier and take me along on neighborhood walks, my tiny arms free to swing as I pointed and waved excitedly at every flag we passed. Even then, Old Glory caught my attention.

That respect was nurtured by two grandfathers, both U.S. Navy veterans of World War II.
My paternal grandfather later became a Great Lakes freighter captain and taught me flag protocol and reverence for our nation’s colors. Every morning in Northern Michigan, he raised the flag on his 40 foot nautical flagpole.

My maternal grandfather, a corporate accountant, supported the passion in his own way, tracking down U.S. state and international stick flags and turning my childhood home into a gallery of colors from around the world.

As a family, we proudly raised the largest flag we could when my two cousins served in the U.S. Army, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan during the OIF and OEF campaigns of the Global War on Terror.

Years later, in college, I found myself working at a hometown flag store. There, I learned what truly makes a flag endure, materials, craftsmanship, and respect for the symbol itself. I helped modernize operations, replaced countless faded residential and commercial flags, and installed and serviced flagpoles across the metro area.

Fast forward to 2023, walking through my own community, I noticed something troubling; empty flagpoles, tattered Stars and Stripes, and a powerful symbol of freedom left to fade. That was the moment I knew it was time to step up.

Big box stores and mass market websites flood the market with inexpensive, overseas made flags designed to fail after a single season. I refuse to accept that standard.

Our flags are proudly made in America by American hands, using premium materials that fly longer, brighter, and stronger. They are priced competitively because honoring the flag should not be a luxury, it should be an expectation.

The American flag is the grandest symbol of freedom. It deserves to fly proudly outside the homes where families are raised and the businesses built through hard work and honor.
